A Day in the life of a CNA at RWPC
Your day begins by preparing the clinic for patients—stocking exam rooms, setting up equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready so care can flow smoothly from the moment the first patient arrives. As patients check in, you will room them, take vital signs, conduct screenings, and gather accurate health information, helping providers start each visit fully informed.
Throughout the day, you work side‑by‑side with providers, clearly communicating clinical findings and assisting with in‑office procedures and dressing changes. You collect and process laboratory specimens in compliance with CLIA regulations and document all care and services accurately in the electronic medical record. You also play an important role in patient and family education, explaining procedures, treatments, and self‑care in a way that is clear, compassionate, and reassuring.
Between patient visits, you help keep the clinic running efficiently by monitoring and ordering supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting scheduling needs, and assisting with general office duties as needed. You stay in close communication with teammates to coordinate patient flow and respond to changing clinic demands.
Quality and safety guide everything you do. You follow RWPC policies, infection control practices, and safety standards at all times, participate in training and quality audits, and maintain required competencies, including BLS certification. No matter how busy the day becomes, you demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit—whether working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team—ending the day knowing you made a meaningful difference in each patient’s experience.
A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
