The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care for clients and families while coordinating care with the health team. Responsibilities include documenting care plans, executing medical orders, and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota with BLS certification. ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications are required within the first six months of hire.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota Certification ~ BLS- required, ACLS- Required in the first 6 months of hire, PALS or ENPC- Required in the first 6 months of hire, TNCC- Required in the first 6 months of hire Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months. Failure to comply with standards of nursing care of HRMC may result in consequences to continued employment. Cross training is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Utilizes computer system and software. Completes competencies on department equipment. Physical Aspects of the Job: Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling, talking, hearing, and moderate exertion/ lifting of clients or equipment. Risk exposure to communicable or infectious disease.
