Provide emergency medical care to a low-volume patient population in a free-standing ER. Participate in the Alabama Trauma Network and manage 24-hour shifts.
Requires an active Alabama Physician license and experience in emergency medicine. Must hold current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
Join our PRN team in Eastern Alabama with this low volume emergency medicine opportunity. Clay County is a small Free Standing ER serving the town and community of Ashland, Alabama. The position is ideally suited for a family physician with emergency experience. There is opportunity for both weekday and weekend 24-hour shifts.
Daily ER volume is about 15 patients per day. 24 - 36 hour shifts with flexible scheduling Quality nursing staff Lab and Radiology services 24/7 Participates in Alabama Trauma Network (https://www.alabamapublichealth.gov/aths/index.html) EMR is CPSI
