• DDC is part of Eurofins, a global scientific company with over 950 laboratories in 60 countries and more than 65,000 employees.Job DescriptionLab Accessioners ensure the accurate intake, processing, and management of DNA testing cases, maintaining compliance with chain-of-custody requirements and client expectations.
• They are responsible for opening samples, comparing information, addressing concerns, solving problems, and entering client data correctly into the Laboratory Information System to ensure that every case is successfully completed.
• They must have excellent data entry skills, be detail oriented, and organized.
• This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely process of samples, from receipt to final reporting.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess and verify incoming sample packages, ensuring chain of custody and package integrityAccurately input and audit patient and contract information into the Laboratory Information System Manage case assignments, track progress, and determine case resolution and closure.Identifies complete and partial cases, following established procedures for processing.Prepare and send final reports, chain-of-custody documents, and affidavits in a timely manner.Input partial billing informationCoordinating and providing service that is timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centeredMeet or exceed productivity targets, ensuring timely case processing and resolution.Prepare AffidavitsNotarize case documents as required (limited).Collaborate with internal departments, including Laboratory Operations and Customer Service, to facilitate case resolution.Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned or become evidentQualificationsOne (1) to two (2) years previous data entry experience preferredHigh School diploma/GED requiredAbility to prioritize workload and meet production goals in a high-volume environment.Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and typing skills are requiredStrong ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and compliance.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues effectively.Knowledge of record-keeping and chain-of-custody protocols is a plus.Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision; must also be able to work as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain flexible to changing prioritiesAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Communicating with others to exchange information.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.Manual dexterity to handle, label, and file samples and paperwork.Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling to accomplish tasks and transport samples from accessioning area to Laboratory.Additional InformationCompensation:$16.00-$17.00 per hourSchedule:Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pmWhat we offer:Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision optionsLife and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysEurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

USD 16.00 - USD 17.00 - hourly
