The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases through physical exams and lab interpretations. Responsibilities include proposing treatment plans, prescribing antibiotics, and collaborating with a medical team.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and an active NP, PA, or Physician license along with DEA and BLS certifications. A minimum of 6 months of experience in long-term care and one year in Infectious Disease is required.
Conducting physical examinations Interpreting lab test Inform patients about their health conditions Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans Collaborating with a team of medical professionals
Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license DEA License CPR BCLS/BLS certified Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program A year of experience in Infectious Disease Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided Must have great organizational and time management skills. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
