The Certified Medication Assistant manages medication administration and recording for residential clients under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include performing routine medical procedures, triaging concerns, and coordinating care with primary care providers.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, a current CNA license, and a CMA certification or the ability to obtain one within six months. Valid BLS/First Aid/AED certifications and an Oregon Driver License are also required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma (or equivalent) Completed OSBN-accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Current CNA license through OSBN Current Certified Medication Assistant certification (CMA) or eligibility/commitment to obtain within six (6) months Current BLS/First Aid/AED certification Current Oregon Food Handler’s Card (in residential) Must maintain a valid Oregon Driver License or ability to obtain one upon hire, and be insurable under the organization’s auto liability coverage policy (minimum 21 years of age and with no Type A violations in the past 3 years, or three (3) or more Type B violations) For individuals in recovery from substance-use disorder, must have maintained continuous recovery for the previous two (2) years at the time of hire PREFERRED: Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus Some experience in a healthcare setting a plus
