The role involves arranging surgeries and diagnostic tests with hospitals and facilities based on physician preferences and insurance requirements. It also includes coordinating patient care, providing surgical instructions, and managing data entry within Epic and physician calendars.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of medical office experience. Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes is required, while an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and high-volume scheduling experience are preferred.

Previous high volume surgery scheduling experience preferred but not required. Familiar with insurance companies, CPT and ICD9 codes.
