The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing breast imaging and bone densitometry procedures while ensuring optimal image quality. They must prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and adhere to radiation safety and HIPAA guidelines.
Candidates must have an Associate degree or be a graduate of an accredited radiology program and be ARRT registered. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, with quality control experience preferred.

Location: Onsite at 427 W. 20th St., Houston, Texas 77008 Schedule: Day Shift, Part-Time to start (3 days/week), with the opportunity to transition to Full-Time (5 days/week) as patient volume grows. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Mammography Services, the Mammography Technologist is responsible for the services at The Breast & Imaging Center to include areas of mammography and/or bone densitometry; exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics; provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Essential Job Duties: Prepare patients for breast imaging procedures by accurately assessing patients’ needs and providing patient education. Operates breast imaging equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentations of images and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal images. Prepare patients’ films for interpretation by a radiologist. Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity. Practices radiation safety measures. Follow HIPAA guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience Quality control experience preferred Associate degree or radiologic graduate of an accredited radiology program ARRT registered and Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist Compensation for this vacancy is competitive and based on years of experience, education, and location.
