Performs and evaluates a variety of technical laboratory procedures across multiple licensure specialties while ensuring quality control and accuracy. Responsible for instrument maintenance, calibration, and reporting critical patient results to caregivers.
Requires an Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a Bachelor's in Biology/Chemistry, along with ASCP or AMT certification. Must be licensed in five specialties: Microbiology, Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunohematology.
