Verify and fill medication orders while monitoring patient therapies to ensure safety and efficacy. Collaborate with leadership to manage drug formularies and participate in clinical rounds to improve medication utilization.
Requires a degree from a school of pharmacy and a valid state pharmacist license. A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and inpatient clinical experience are preferred.

Verify and fills orders for medications, monitors patient medication therapies, provide drug information, identifies and troubleshoots potential medication safety hazards, documents all interactions for medical review, and supervises and directs support personnel.
