Support adults in behavioral health recovery by mentoring them in daily living skills and maintaining a safe, recovery-oriented shared housing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating household operations, planning program activities, and completing service documentation.
A high school diploma is required, with preferred coursework in psychology, social work, or human services. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening and obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB clearances.
Mental Health Kokua (MHK) is hiring a Kauhale Housing Specialist on Maui to support adults in behavioral health recovery living in community-based supportive housing. This full-time role helps maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented shared housing environment that promotes stability, independence, and community connection.
As a Kauhale Housing Specialist, you will support residents with daily living skills, provide mentoring and recovery-focused support, and help maintain a positive household environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy active, meaningful work and want to help others build confidence, strengthen routines, and work toward long-term stability.
