Job description

Pulse-MD Urgent Care (www.pulse-md.com) is seeking a full time and part time certified Nurse Practitioners (FNP) for our Poughkeepsie and Wappingers Falls locations in New York. We provide an excellent work environment. The practice is Physician owned and the partners are involved in day to day operations. No corporate ladders.
Our Urgent Care is open 8a-8p every day
Full time position would require 3 twelve hours shifts and Part time would require at least 2 twelve hours shifts
Full Time position is available with benefits and Part time with malpractice covered by us
Must be available to work at other locations if needed

Pulse-MD Urgent Care is a growing chain with locations in (Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester Counties) and is in search of Nurse Practitioner providers. FNP must have either Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Internal Medicine experience. Here are some more requirements.
Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Consult with or refer patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise.
Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies.
Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults.
Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, comorbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other health care providers as necessary.
Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
Maintain current knowledge of state legal regulations.
Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographs (x-rays).
Perform care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds.
