The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and documenting age-specific patient care using cardiopulmonary processes. They also manage the cleaning and maintenance of cardiopulmonary equipment and respond to respiratory crises.
Requires registration through the State of Texas Medical Examiners and BLS certification upon hire. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
