Assist doctors with eye examinations and procedures by preparing equipment and performing preliminary diagnostic tests. Handle patient triage, record medical histories, and educate patients on eye health and post-operative care.
No prior experience is required as the clinic is willing to train the right candidate. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology, ocular disease processes, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Assist doctors during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and equipment. Perform preliminary tests, including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and pupil reactions. Includes visual fields, OCT, IOM, biometry, pachymetry, refraction, and more. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care. Handle phone calls, patient triage, and administrative tasks to assist the provider. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations.
