The nurse acts as a patient advocate, coordinating care and managing multiple patient cases with high organization. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records to determine job ability and providing triage and follow-up care via telehealth for workplace injuries.
Candidates must hold a current Kentucky RN or LPN license (or compact state license) and a current BLS certification. An Associate's degree is required, and 3 years of experience as an RN or LPN is preferred.
Report: Acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care. Able to manage a large number of patient’s cases with high energy and organization Collaborates with other health care providers and Medical Director regarding patient needs. Review and assess medical records to determine employee’s ability to perform job duties Respond to workplace injury or illness by triaging initial telehealth call and providing follow up care. QualificationsRequired Skills: Ability to work independently and make decisions Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff and partnering companies Ability to organize, perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks Ability to organize, attend and participate in staff development, training, and wellness programs Strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new healthcare technology systems. Minimum Education- Associates Degree or; one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Licenses [Kentucky, United States] RN or LPN Registered Nurse with a current KY license or valid compact state license OR LPN with a current KY license or valid compact state license BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
