Oversee the operation of a Multispecialty Infusion Clinic for weekend monoclonal antibody infusions. Responsibilities include onboarding patients via telehealth and managing infusion emergencies and reactions in the office.
Requires a Master of Science in Nursing or a Physician Assistant degree with at least two years of hematology/oncology experience. Must hold a valid state license, CPR certification, and be willing to travel to various practice locations.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for clinic patients in an outpatient setting Initiate and document appropriate interventions Evaluate and record patient and family response within practice protocol Prescribes drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation Assess patient and family needs and provides education Promotes/provides staff education Serve as a liaison between inpatient, skilled nursing, and home setting Incorporates evidence-based research into clinical practice Independently work and manage any infusion reactions and anaphylaxis.
