The Lab Assistant provides support services to medical technologists and technicians. Primary duties include specimen preparation and the pre-analytical examination of laboratory specimens.
Candidates must be high school graduates with at least 60 hours of college credit in a science curriculum. Basic computer literacy is required, and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
