Provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures, including patient positioning, tissue manipulation, and achieving hemostasis. Assist with wound closure, dressing application, and the preparation and cleanup of the surgical suite.
Requires a High School diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree, or 4 years of specific job experience. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and NBSTSA credentialing is preferred.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
