The technician is responsible for cleaning and sterilizing all surgical instruments and monitoring PAR levels of supplies. They also provide technical assistance to physicians regarding instrumentation for surgical interventions.
Candidates should be graduates of an approved Operating Room Technical School or have one year of on-the-job experience. A current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.

Perform technical responsibilities relative to assisting physicians with the instrumentation of surgical intervention. Monitors PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.
