The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences. Care is provided in a culturally based and age-specific manner within the Neuro department.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Ohio RN license. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, and while new grads are accepted for Med/Surg, specific experience is preferred for other specialties.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is an individual who holds a current state license to practice nursing. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The care is culturally based and age specific.
