About the Role
- As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and mobility.
- You will assess patients' physical abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote healing and prevent further injury.
- Your work will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adapting treatments based on patient progress and feedback.
- You will also educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
- Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing patients' quality of life and enabling them to regain independence in their daily activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice physical therapy in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology related to physical therapy.
- Experience in orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in manual therapy or orthopedic physical therapy specialties.
- Experience working with sports injuries and sports medicine patients.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional training or certification in geriatric rehabilitation.
