Salary
$30 - $32 / HOUR
Performs routine patient care and assists medical staff with various emergency procedures and equipment setup. Responsible for documenting patient information and maintaining department equipment and supplies.
Requires a High School Diploma and NYS EMT certification, with BLS certification and at least one year of acute hospital experience. An Associate Degree and AEMT certification are preferred.
Performs routine patient/resident care under the supervision of Physicians, Surgeons Assistants and Nurses. Recognizes and reports significant observations. Strives for a variety of opportunities to use clinical skills, offer patient/family teaching and participate in a multidisciplinary approach to care.
