The role involves processing and embedding tissue samples, performing microtomy, and staining slides for microscopic examination. Additionally, the scientist will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting within a busy laboratory.
Candidates must have HCPC registration and a degree in Biomedical Science or an equivalent qualification. Experience in histology, specifically with microtomy and staining techniques in a clinical setting, is required.
