Requires an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Hematology or Hematology/Oncology fellowship, and board certification or eligibility. Must possess an active Utah medical license, DEA, and full prescriptive authority.
Classical Hematology Physician, Salt Lake City Utah When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Classical Hematology Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will diagnose and manage classical (non-malignant) hematologic conditions, provide inpatient consultative services, develop individualized treatment plans, longitudinal management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in or lead clinical research initiatives in classical hematology and contribute to growing out the hematology program. This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, $20,000 in relocation assistance, up to $36,000 residency stipend and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable You will practice at Intermountain Health LDS Hospital and provide coverage at following Hospitals Riverton, Alta View, and Layton. Your clinic hours will be 8 am – 5 pm four days a week with one admin day Participate in a shared call rotation, ensuring continuity of care for our patients. What you’ll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Completion of an accredited fellowship in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology Board certification or eligibility in Hematology or Medical Oncology Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one Strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care skills. Demonstrated expertise in non‑malignant hematologic disorders.
