The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive patient care within the Urology department, including evaluation, diagnosis, and education. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, triaging calls, and assisting with inpatient care and ER assessments.
Candidates must have completed a certified PA or NP program and hold a Maryland license and NCCPA or ANCC/AAN certification. Surgical experience is required, and proficiency with EPIC is preferred.
Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. License Requirements: Maryland PA License, Maryland NP Certification Certification Requirements: NCCPA, ANCC/AAN Surgical experience required EPIC experience preferred Must be computer literate or learn within 6 months Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner Must be able to work efficiently and possess the ability to make decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
