Provide essential daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support for senior residents. Ensure resident safety and well-being while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Requires a high school diploma, current First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers cards, and the ability to pass a background check. Candidates should have previous caregiving experience and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Caregiver (WA)
Caregivers create a joyful and vibrant community by providing care, support, and companionship to our residents. You will assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure their safety, well-being, and comfort, in accordance with company policies and state regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed. Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Mobility Support: Help residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises to maintain their physical health.
Engage in conversations, games, and activities to provide emotional support and companionship.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
Ensure residents' safety by monitoring for any potential hazards or emergencies and responding appropriately.
Maintain open communication with residents, their families, and team members to provide updates on residents' well-being.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and standards. Attends and participates in required meetings and trainings. Stays current on all system assigned tasks and duties.
