Responsible for delivering patient care and coordinating medical plans using the nursing process within the OPS/PACU unit. Directs and guides other personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards and department policies.
Requires a valid Virginia RN license, a Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree, and at least two years of RN experience. Must hold BLS certification and obtain ACLS and PALS prior to completing orientation.
A registered professional nurse responsible for the delivery of patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift worked. Coordination of all aspects of the medical plan and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. Also directs and guides the activities of other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
