Supports hospital pharmacy operations by preparing and delivering medications to patient care units and automated dispensing cabinets. Manages pharmacy inventory, repackages medications, and maintains a clean, organized workspace under supervision.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and Maryland residency, specifically for individuals eligible for the Maryland Service Year Program. No prior experience is required, but candidates must possess basic computer skills and the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee supports hospital pharmacy operations in a supervised, hands-on learning environment. This role assists with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy system processes while completing required training and developing technical skills to support safe patient care.
