The RN provides direct care for acutely and non-acutely ill patients in the Emergency Department, including triaging, assessing, and initiating immediate life-saving care. They collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and revise treatment plans while providing psychological and physical comfort to patients and families.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license in Michigan and an Associate's Degree in Nursing, with at least 2 years of experience in a medical center setting. Multiple certifications are required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
