Performs duties in sterile processing including receiving, inspecting, preparing, and delivering surgical supplies and equipment. Participates in quality improvement activities and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
Requires a high school diploma and current certification as a Central Service Technician from IAHCSMM, CBSPD, or the Veteran's Administration. Candidates must have one year of experience in sterile processing of instruments.
