Assist with consultations, surgical treatments, and pre-surgical preparations while monitoring patient vital signs. Responsible for sterilizing instruments, documenting medical records, and providing post-operative care instructions.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of chairside assisting experience, specifically in oral surgery or periodontics. A valid CPR/BLS certification and strong communication skills are mandatory.
Nu Image is a specialty oral surgery center offering services from extractions to grafting, periodontics, and implant placement. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Assistant to join our team!
Assist with consultations, treatments, and pre-surgical preparations. Take diagnostic images and sterilize instruments. Prepare the operatory for surgeries. Monitor vital signs, provide chairside assistance, and document procedures. Document procedures and patient interactions in medical records. Consult with other physicians to ensure patient safety for surgery. Offer post-operative care instructions and follow-up. Maintain CPR certification and manage emergency supplies. Ensure a clean and safe working environment. Help manage surgical supplies inventory.
Minimum 2 year of chairside assisting experience; oral surgery and/or periodontics, required Dental Experience, preferred CPR/BLS Certification required Strong communication skills and team-player attitude.
