One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Behavioral Health Clinician, you will help our patients and their families feel comfortable and educated when they’re in the clinic so they can receive effective treatments and support during vulnerable times.
Every day you will conduct initial intake assessments and evaluations, provide crisis intervention services when needed, and assist in the detection of high-risk patients.
You will be expected to build trust by advocating, supporting, and educating your patients and their families, noticing differences in patient health and behavior, and offering linkages and referrals to appropriate services.
To be successful in this role, you will possess empathy and patience, be able to work independently and be self-directed, and have a strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment methods, adherence to W & I Codes, and professional and ethical behavior at all times.
As a remote employee, we will provide you with the equipment needed to work from home, including a laptop, docking station, dual monitors, and accessories.
This will be a hybrid remote/in-office position.
Job Requirements Required: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Psychological Assistant You must possess the following knowledge, Skills & Abilities: DSM 5.
