Provide culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate basic patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, assisting with hygiene, and operating medical equipment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Up to six months of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and training is required.
Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care. The Certified Nursing Assistant works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs of patients.
Requires a high school diploma or GED state certification or similar demonstrated ability.
Requires up to six months of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licensure, Registrations & Certifications Requires and maintains a Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
