Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) - Lung Transplant

• Job Summary The APP will work with the Lung Transplant team and provide comprehensive care to pre and post lung transplant patients in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• The APP will work closely with the attending physician and other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care based Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG’s). Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate Collaborate with the healthcare team Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care in the medical record Participate in policy, protocol, and guideline development and revision Participate in education, quality initiatives and research project Maintains education, licensures, registrations, and certifications in good standing in accordance with State specifications. Continues to develop knowledge and skills with on-going education provided by the TGH People Development Institute.
