Cottage Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our inpatient pharmacy team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support safe and efficient medication distribution and pharmacy operations.
include assisting with medication preparation and dispensing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper inventory levels. You will restock medications, inspect storage areas for expired items, and help manage drug inventory to meet patient needs. The role also involves supporting pharmaceutical care across a wide range of patient populations.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with both pharmacy and hospital staff. You should be comfortable handling interruptions, responding to urgent requests, and maintaining accuracy in all aspects of your work.
Certified Pharmacy Technician credentials are preferred; however, candidates willing to obtain certification prior to starting will be considered. This is a strong opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.
We appreciate a 2 shift per month commitment for per diem roles.
