Education/Training Meets American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) eligibility guidelines.
Licensure/Certification
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer(RDMS)registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.
Maintains RDMS physics registry and a minimum of two ARDMS registries pertinent to department. Experience One (1) year of experience in sonography. Knowledge of routine and complex ultrasound procedures which may include invasive procedures such as biopsies, amniocentesis, thoracentesis, breast cyst aspiration, breast localization, and knowledge of Doppler, 3D/4D, and pediatric sonography. Routinely demonstrates competency in performing ultrasound examinations pertinent to department.
