Provide urgent physical and emotional support to patients and families during active stages of dying as part of the Even More Care program. Serve as a steady presence and respond quickly to evolving needs within the emergent care team.
Must be a state-certified nurses' aide with a high school diploma and at least one year of experience as a Hospice or Nurses Aide. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to use clinical software.
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle
