The Physical Therapy Tech provides direct patient care support by preparing treatment areas and operating therapy equipment under supervision. Additional duties include performing clerical tasks, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and managing pool chemicals.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and obtain AHA BLS-HCP certification within 30 days. Previous experience as a PT or OT Aide or Tech is preferred.

The Outpatient Therapy Tech functions as an interdisciplinary team member under close supervision of a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant performing only delegated, selected, or routine tasks involved in direct patient care. Duties include preparing the patient and the treatment area. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
