- Functional
- Rehabilitation: Execute individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT, focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional mobility.
- Therapeutic
- Intervention: Provide skilled treatments using adaptive equipment and specialized techniques to help residents reach their maximum potential.
- Progress
- Tracking: Closely monitor resident performance and provide accurate, timely documentation to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborative
- Care: Work alongside Physical and Speech Therapists to deliver a holistic, coordinated approach to patient recovery.

- Advocacy: Instruct residents, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and safety techniques to ensure a successful discharge.

Qualifications
Education: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Licensure
Current, valid California COTA License or certification.
