- Job Overview The Pharmacy Technician will provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team.
- This position is full time evenings, non-exempt, and benefits eligible.
- The pay range for this position is $31.11 - $43.92/hour.
- Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies andmedications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas Performs a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient’s quality of care Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the PharmaceuticalServices Department This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. Qualifications
Required: Pharmacy Technician licensure Preferred: 2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience 1+ years IV compounding experience
