The Advanced Practitioner manages health-related problems and conditions as a primary health care provider. They collaborate with physicians to manage pre and post-op patients, administer medications, and coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree and possess a valid PA Physician Assistant License and NCCPA Certification. Required certifications include BLS, PA DEA, and DOT Medical Examiner certifications.
Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking a FULL TIME Advanced Practitioner to join our team in our Douglassville Location. - working with our clinical team the Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) will evaluate, diagnose, medically manage and treat patients of all ages in the urgent care setting. This includes recognition, evaluation, stabilization, and management in response to acute illness and injury, as well as, specified physicals (sports, pre-employment, DOT). The provider will be responsible for prescribing, administering, and/or dispensing medication for pediatric and adult patients. Our APPs are be expected to perform simple procedures appropriate for an urgent care setting, such as, laceration repair, incision and drainage, simple foreign body removal, and splinting.
Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
