Promotes consumer recovery through community inclusion, advocacy, and direct services such as outreach and group facilitation. Collaborates with staff to develop person-centered plans and relapse prevention strategies for clients with mental illness or dual diagnosis.
Requires certification as a Peer Support Specialist to provide insight into recovery for adults. Must be able to facilitate goal setting and assist consumers in obtaining individual recovery services.
