Welcome to Fish Pond Surgery Center

We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

PCT/Anesthesia Tech/SPD/Terminal Clean at Fish Pond Surgery Center

• The PCT/Anesthesia Tech/SPD/Terminal Clean provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
• Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
• Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
• Assists the anesthesiologist and the circulating nurse with the administration of anesthesia and assures adequate stock is available as needed.
• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant or Patient Care Technician clinical training.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.
• BLS certification required.
