The Veterinary Technician is responsible for inducing and monitoring anesthesia, triaging emergency cases, and performing digital radiography. They must also administer medications, maintain catheters, and provide critical care to injured or ill patients.
Candidates should be proficient in phlebotomy, medical math, and the placement of intravenous and central line catheters. A passion for emergency medicine, multitasking ability, and empathy toward clients are essential.
