The APRN provides palliative and end-of-life care to patients in hospital and community settings, focusing on symptom management and goals of care discussions. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient-centered care plans and maintain accurate medical records.
Requires a Master's degree in nursing and valid APRN and RN licensure in Arkansas, including prescriptive authority and a DEA certificate. A minimum of two years of palliative care experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and insurance for extensive travel.

The Palliative Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority, will work in conjunction with the Palliative Care Team to provide services to patients in the hospital and community-based setting. The nurse practitioner will facilitate goals of care discussions and transitions to hospice along with making recommendations for symptom management.
Education: Master’s degree in nursing
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in Arkansas, Registered Nurse licensed in Arkansas, prescriptive authority r, including DEA certificate, required.
Minimum of two years of RN or APRN palliative care experience preferred. Minimum of two years administrative experience preferred
Valid Arkansas driver’s license, personal automobile insurance, current TB skin test, ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
Utilizes approved clinical guidelines and evidence-based protocols when providing care in the hospital and community-based setting.
