$57 - $92 / HOUR
Responsible for monitoring patient drug therapies, dispensing medications, and providing accurate drug information. The role also involves supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Requires a degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy and a current Illinois pharmacist license. A PharmD or a BS degree with at least 2 years of direct patient care experience is preferred.
Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required. D. Preferred or a B.S degree with at least 2 years, direct patient care experience. Licensure/Certification/Registry: Current pharmacist license in the State of Illinois or license pending with a valid Letter of Authorization to practice pharmacy in the State of Illinois required. (The maximum allowable time to practice in a license pending status under the Letter of Authorization is 60 days per licensing regulations.) Experience: Health system experience strongly preferred Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates commitment to continuous development in pharmacy practice Demonstrates excellent communication skills
