Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Flex 40 hrs

Description The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA’s) is a dedicated compassionate person who will provide direct supports to 3-4 individuals in their home setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in delivering basic care, completing documentation, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certifications

• Valid State CNA License Must successfully complete an initial orientation including CPR, Positive Behavior Interventions, and a medication administration course. Valid Missouri chauffeur's license required within the first two weeks of employment; must maintain acceptable driving status according to Procedure No. 1-8-3, Woodhaven Vehicle Use.

• Requirements: Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with individuals supported, heir families, and staff. Experience working as a CNA Strong attention to detail and communication Must have no felony convictions listed on the Department of Mental Health disqualification registry unless an approved exception exists. Essential Physical Requirements This is primarily physical work requiring exertion of 50 pounds or more of force and frequent fine motor skills. Tasks require grasping, repetitive motions, vocal communication, and hearing. Visual acuity is needed for data preparation, machine operation, and general observation. Some homes may require lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Please consult with the supervisor for specific requirements.
