Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both residential and community-based day program settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transporting participants, and documenting behavioral and medical changes.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Candidates must be able to complete certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
Direct Support Professional – Residential / Day Program Hybrid Position (Full-Time) 12-Hour Hybrid Shift Position
BUR 004 - Sunday - Tuesday 7a-7p, 36 Hours per week
Join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines both Residential and Day Program services, allowing you to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both their home environment and community-based day programming.
In this position, staff will begin their shift within a residential setting, assist individuals with their morning routines and daily living needs, transport and support participants throughout the Day Program from approximately 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and then return to the residential home to complete the remainder of the 12-hour shift.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, flexible, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working in both residential and community-based settings.
This position provides the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with individuals across multiple settings while helping promote independence, safety, community inclusion, and overall quality of life.
