The Speech Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment for patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. They develop individualized plans of care, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure professional standards of practice.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited speech-language pathology program with a current state license and BLS certification. A Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA is required, or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
