Provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages recovering from surgical interventions in the PACU. Focus specifically on managing patient airways and circulation during the post-anesthesia phase.
Requires a nursing degree, a current Louisiana RN license, and at least one year of experience in Critical Care. BLS certification is required, with ACLS certification needed within six months of hire.
The staff nurse provides direct nursing care to patients of all ages who have undergone surgical intervention requiring post anesthesia care with emphasis placed on airway management and circulation.
